Blackpool loan star Wade Small was delighted to silence the taunts from Barnsley supporters after his strike gave the Seasiders a 1-0 win at Oakwell.
The winger arrived at Bloomfield Road on Friday from Barnsley's local rivals Sheffield Wednesday and scored the only goal of the game in the 70th minute, firing in a volley from the edge of the area.
Small was booked for celebrating with the Blackpool fans and said: "It was great to score in front of the Blackpool fans and it was also nice because I'm a Sheffield Wednesday player so the Barnsley fans had been giving me a load of grief all afternoon."
He added: "It was a great afternoon."
