We're not that far away from WrestleMania 33 now, so the rumors for the biggest WWE show of the year are hotting up, but not much is being said about what kind of feuds we should expect after The Showcase of The Immortals.

WrestleMania 33 already has several matches booked including Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton, and Bayley vs Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks. Several more matches are all but confirmed too including The Undertaker vs Roman Reigns, and AJ Styles vs Shane McMahon.

However, not many of these current feuds are expected to go beyond this year's event, and a recent release of matches for the first post-WrestleMania 33 WWE live event - which will take place on April 14 at The Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island - has indicated what feuds we should expect.

There are a couple of matches on this Live Event's card that are expected, and those feuds will probably come to their conclusions at Payback on April 30, RAW's first pay-per-view after WrestleMania 33.

But, there are two matches on this matchcard that are a bit surprising. Usually, when it comes to Live Event booking, the contests that take place eventually end up on WWE programming, so it will be interesting to see if any of these feuds end up transpiring on RAW after WrestleMania.

The match card for the WWE Live Event on April 14 is as follows, according to Wrestling Inc (subject to change):

  • Finn Balor vs. Rusev
  • Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn
  • Big Show vs. Jinder Mahal
  • Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman
  • Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens
  • Rich Swann vs. WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville
  • Sasha Banks & RAW Women's Champion Bayley vs. Nia Jax & Charlotte
  • The New Day vs. Cesaro & Sheamus vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. RAW Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

As expected, we have some continuation of some WrestleMania feuds including Owens vs Jericho and the RAW Women's championship picture. We also have the continuation of Reigns vs Strowman from before WrestleMania, as well as The New Day back in the RAW Tag Team title scene. All these were anticipated.

The two matches that stand out are Finn Balor vs Rusev, and Big Show vs Jinder Mahal. Could this be an indication of Balor's first WWE feud back from injury and the start of one more final push for The Big Show before he retires? Perhaps.

You would expect both The Demon King and The World's Largest Athlete to come out on top in their respective matches and feuds if they are to be, and it would make for interesting viewing for both superstars entering the new season of the WWE towards SummerSlam.
