Considering fans pay good money to attend WWE events, it gives them the freedom to cheers or boo whoever they want.

However, there are also the select few that decide to cross the line, and use profanity against the stars they don’t like and just want to get under their skin.

HECKLERS

While most of the time it seems like that’s ignored, there are a handful of superstars that do respond in kind.

Perhaps the most famous example of that in recent times was CM Punk when he absolutely destroyed a fan at ringside for hurling abuse at him.

Now, it’s mainly Kevin Owens who refuses to back down from hecklers at ringside, and there’s plenty of proof of that with a quick search on YouTube.

However, this week new footage has emerged from a fan at ringside at a verbal altercation between a female 'fan' and Goldberg.

It took place at the Raw-exclusive Fastlane pay-per-view where Goldberg dethroned The Prizefighter to become the new WWE Universal Champion.

As you’ll be able to see and hear in the video below, the woman shouted something that Goldberg didn’t like.

GOLDBERG RESPONDS

Once the WWE cameras stopped rolling, she shouted: “You’re old as f**k Goldberg!”

Obviously, Goldberg wasn’t going to take that sort of language lying down, and he came back to the fan while high-fiving others to hit back at her.

He responded: “Watch your language, there’s kids around here.

“Just because you guys are low lives doesn’t mean you have to pass it around.”

That sort of language may have gone unnoticed had it been anyone else on the roster on the receiving end, but fans will know that Goldberg has always been a role model to kids, and takes their support very seriously.

He’s built-up as a superhero and an idol to them, so you can understand why he’s annoyed that they’d possibly hear that sort of language.

Not only that, but Goldberg’s own son has become a big part of his return to the ring, and we’ve seen him on television on numerous occasions, so he wouldn’t want his own kid to hear an adult say something like that to him.

Let that be a lesson, if you swear at Goldberg then be prepared for a stern telling off, regardless of where you’re sat.
