Hornets (29-36) 121, Magic (24-42) 81

Marvin Williams (12/18/7) posted a carer-high in both rebounds and assists in the win as Kemba Walker (23/0/1) and Nicolas Batum (15/3/10) continued their strong play. Just three Magic players scored in double-figures and the team shot 31-76 (40.8 percent) on the night, including an abysmal 5-of-27 (18.5 percent) from three-point range.

Rockets (45-21) 115, Bulls (31-34) 94

James Harden (19/7/13) continued his MVP quest to lead the Rockets while the combination of Jimmy Butler (16/5/4) and Dwyane Wade (21/3/2) couldn’t shoulder the load for the Bulls. It was a three-point shooting barrage, as Houston went 15-of-47 from beyond the arc while Chicago went just 9-of-39.

Bucks (31-33) 99, Pacers (33-32) 85

Giannis Antetokounmpo (21/8/5), Khris Middleton (21/3/2) and Greg Monroe (18/7/2) combined for 60 of Milwaukee’s 99 points. As a whole, the Pacers couldn’t get things going on offense, despite the efforts of Paul George (18/11/6). Indiana shockingly went just 2-of-18 from three-point range in the losing effort.

Timberwolves (27-37) 103, Warriors (52-13) 102

Golden State has now lost four of their last six games. Stephen Curry (26/6/7) shot just 10-of-27 from the field, including 1-of-8 from three while Draymond Green (5/6/7) went just 1-of-8 shooting. Klay Thompson (30/6/2) had a solid game, but Andrew Wiggins (24/4/0), Karl-Anthony Towns (23/9/2) and Ricky Rubio (17/4/13) were excellent for Minnesota in the upset win.

Hawks (36-29) 105, Raptors (38-27) 99

Dennis Schroder (26/6/5), Paul Millsap (21/6/4) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (20/2/6) all scored 20-plus points for the Hawks, who won despite committing 21 turnovers. DeMar DeRozan (28/8/6) was relied on to shoulder much of Toronto’s scoring load, but he shot just 12-of-30 including 1-of-8 from beyond the arc.

Mavericks (28-36) 105, Nets (11-53) 96

Brooklyn’s bench outscored their starters 60-to-36 as four Mavericks starters posted double digits in the scoring column. Harrison Barnes (21/7/0) led Dallas in that regard, while Seth Curry (18/5/4) and Yogi Ferrell (17/2/2) both delivered solid performances as well. The Mavs out-rebounded the Nets 47-to-35 on the night.

Nuggets (30-35) 119, Celtics (41-25) 99

Denver owned Boston from the start in this one, out-rebounding the East’s second place team to the tune of 49-to-33. Nikola Jokic (21/10/7) was brilliant yet again, going 8-of-10 from the field, while Wilson Chandler (23/8/1) continued his hot play and Danilo Gallinari (20/5/1) turned in an efficient performance. The Celtics shot 10.4 percent worse from the field than their opponents (42.5 percent compared to 52.9 percent) in the sloppy effort.

Wizards (40-24) 130, Kings (25-40) 122

The star for Washington was Bradley Beal (38/10/4), who was clearly the best player on the court, going 13-of-24 from the floor, including 5-of-9 from three-point range. Co-star John Wall (25/4/12) also double-doubled, as the Wizards had a sparkling 29-to-7 assist-to-turnover ratio in the 53-minute contest.
