The WWE were at Madison Square Garden yesterday for a Live Event, and they used the iconic venue to hype up some of their upcoming WrestleMania matches.

Not only did fans get to witness Brock Lesnar live up to his Beast Incarnate nickname by issuing a beatdown to Kevin Owens and winning his match in several minutes, but they also saw an awesome, according to reports, fatal four-way between Dean Ambrose, The Miz, Luke Harper, and Baron Corbin, as well as a no disqualification match between Bray Wyatt and John Cena.

However, one of the most interesting points of the event came at the beginning, as it added hype towards one of the more concerning matches on the WrestleMania 33 card.

Shane McMahon opened up the MSG Live Event and welcomed the crowd by discussing his family's history inside the building, according to Wrestling Inc. This didn't go down well with one certain WWE superstar, and you could probably guess who.

AJ Styles came out to the ring to confront the SmackDown Live commissioner and argued with him about the WWE championship match at WrestleMania. The segment ended in Shane-O-Mac naming The Phenomenal One's opponent for the night, Randy Orton. You can see Styles confronting Shane in the video and images below.

Styles would go on to lose to The Viper via an RKO, but the segment at the beginning of the show just adds more interest in the rumored WrestleMania 33 match between The Phenomenal One and Shane McMahon after their feud begin this past week on SmackDown.

After Styles lost his number one contenders match to Orton on the show, he confronted Shane-O-Mac backstage in the gorilla position, blaming him for his loss and caused a bit of tension between the two. They had to be separated by Road Dogg and Michael Hayes, but the seeds were planted for a possible Styles vs Shane WrestleMania match next month in Orlando.

The main concern fans have with this match is that The Phenomenal One is too much of a technical wrestler for the SmackDown commissioner to compete with, and they won't be able to put on a decent contest. However, this shouldn't be something fans should be worried about if they take into account two things.

One is that because Styles is a great technical wrestler, he will be able to help Shane put on a decent quality match. We've seen him do this countless times already in the WWE with superstars that aren't as technical as he is. Think back to his feud with Roman Reigns last year and you'll know what I mean.

As well as this, Shane can put on good matches. His clash with The Undertaker last year at WrestleMania was one of the most talked about matches after the show. This wasn't just because The Deadman was involved, but because of the spots Shane-O-Mac was able to pull off during the contest, including jumping off the top of the cell.

WWE fans shouldn't be concerned about a speculated clash at WrestleMania 33 between Styles and Shane, as judging by recent history, it could end up being one of the best matches of the night.
