Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies confirms that he is interested in signing QPR striker Dexter Blackstock.
The 22-year-old is currently stalling on signing a new contract at Loftus Road, sparking interest from several clubs.
Having failed with a loan bid for former Forest favourite Marlon Harewood, Davies is desperate to add to his forward line ahead of Thursday's loan deadline as he seeks to secure his side`s Coca-Cola Championship status.
"We are looking to bring in one or two before Thursday, but we are also putting one or two things in place for the summer as well," Davies told the Nottingham Evening Post.
"We are looking at several targets and making several enquiries and Dexter Blackstock is among one of those names we are asking about. He is one of several players we are looking at.
"We know we have a rebuilding job to do, we know we have to plan for the future.
"At this moment we are looking at possible targets and doing all we can to look at possible targets now.
"We do not want to get to the summer and then be scrambling for possible targets. We need to get ahead of the game now."
