Another win, another incredible performance from Chelsea's N'Golo Kante. The indefatigable Frenchman dominated in midfield against Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Monday night and even scored the winner. From 25-yards out in the 51st minute, Kante created space for himself and beat David de Gea with a superb drive into the bottom-right hand corner. His goal aside, Kante was his usual, combative self in the middle of the park and successfully stunted Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera.Frank Lampard summed up the 25-year-old's all-action display perfectly after the game when he described him as the world's best central midfielder."N'Golo Kante is the best central midfielder in the world at the moment," he told Gary Lineker on BBC Sport after the game.

"I compared him to Claude Makelele last season, but he's got even more to his game than Makelele."

It's no exaggeration that Kante is improving with every game for Chelsea having already made a mockery of his £32 million summer move.

A defensive midfielder by trade, the France international has shown he is just as effective in either a creative or attacking role.

But he's at his best when it comes to winning back possession in Chelsea's defensive third, as he demonstrated in the second half against Marcus Rashford.

In the footage below, with Rashford on the ball, Kante easily out-muscled the 19-year-old to win it back and also send him flying.

KANTE VS RASHFORD: ONLY ONE WINNER

Seriously, how does he do it? Rashford is by no means a powerhouse, but neither is Kante, yet he barged the striker out of the way as if he were a child.

Here's how Twitter reacted to Kante bullying United's youngster.

Lineker also shared a few glowing words on Kante after his winner and explained how he'll become the greatest midfielder ever if he starts adding more goals to his game.

He tweeted: "Bloody hell, if @nglkante starts scoring goals as well he'll become the best midfield player ever."

Lineker may have been joking, but it's genuinely a scary thought if Kante becomes a goalscoring midfielder under Antonio Conte.
