Unfortunately for Phil Neville, he’s always been living in the shadow of his older brother.Gary Neville was the better footballer, is a better pundit and is generally more popular than poor old Phil. But Phil hasn’t exactly had a bad life.He made almost 400 appearances for United, before playing more than 300 times for Everton. He also - believe it or not - played 59 times for England. After retiring, Phil now appears regularly on BBC as a pundit and was, once again, asked to provide 'expert' analysis for the FA Cup clash between Chelsea and Manchester United. But, to move away from his brother’s shadow, Phil knows he has to make some comments that will get him noticed - and that includes producing some rude innuendos.Well, that’s what he did at half-time of Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over his former side.Neville was discussing United’s tactics prior to Ander Herrera’s sending-off and proceeded to say "United had every hole filled..."Of course, he meant as a defensive point of view and Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Frank Lampard didn’t react to Neville’s comment. However, Nevile was extremely pleased with his efforts and, despite the camera still being on him, he gave a very big smirk at the innuendo he had just produced.Check it out:

Good effort, Phil.

But Neville certainly wasn’t smiling after the game as N’Golo Kante’s second-half side sent his beloved team crashing out of the FA Cup.

It means Jose Mourinho’s aim of winning a cup treble is now over after they’ve already secured the EFL Cup and find themselves in the latter stages of the Europa League.

The Red Devils will now turn their attentions to Europe with a second leg against Russian side Rostov on Thursday with the tie balanced at 1-1.

They will then return to the Premier League where they still harbour hopes of finishing in the top four and qualifying for next season’s Champions League.

So, United’s FA Cup campaign might be over but they still have plenty of play for this season.

As for Neville, he will continue to make himself smile with unfunny rude one-liners.
