QPR striker Dexter Blackstock has joined Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old is Rangers' top scorer this term with 12 goals, but boss Paulo Sousa has allowed him to link up with their Championship rivals after the clubs agreed an undisclosed loan fee.

Blackstock, who joined Rangers from Southampton for £2.75million in August 2006, is likely to make his Forest debut at Barnsley next weekend.
