The biggest wrestling story in 2017 so far certainly revolves around The Hardy Boyz, and the current situation they’re in with Impact Wrestling.

Over the past few weeks, there has been plenty of speculation surrounding Broken Matt and Brother Nero bringing their new characters and gimmicks back to the WWE, but it’s been far from simple.

BROKEN UNIVERSE

While a WWE move is still on the card for the first episode of Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania, they’re currently involved in a legal battle with their former employers, and have even released an anti-Impact Wrestling shirt to show they’re not backing down.

Basically, Impact Wrestling won’t let any promotion air the use of the ‘Broken’ gimmick unless they’re given a percentage of the profits.

While Matt has been vocal on social media as he continues teasing a WWE arrival, we haven’t heard much from Jeff on the whole situation – that was until SEScoops.com managed to catch up with him and his comments will certainly excite WWE fans.

After claiming that he and Matt will come out on top in their current legal battle to use the Broken Universe elsewhere, Jeff admitted that he wants to bring it to the WWE and is even eyeing up another world championship run.

WWE INTENTIONS

He said: “I would love to introduce the Broken Universe to WWE eventually. I think it would be huge.

“As far as character driven or just a fresh vibe in the pro wrestling world, yeah, I think eventually I’m sure I’m going to jump back into the solo dimension and I’d love to be the world champion again.

“In my career in WWE, if it works out, the whole Hall of Fame and all that stuff. It started there and I’d like to end it there.

“For now, I’m just having a blast doing the indies and I love the Broken Universe stuff with Matt, I think it’s the best thing he’s ever done. It’s just hard to keep a straight face around him at times, but he can be serious and make sense in a weird way. It’s just so fun, I hope it lasts as long as it can.”

If rumours are to be believed, then we should expect to see them the night after WrestleMania as Jeff also confirmed that their current Ring of Honor deal is short and could expire as early as April.

Let’s just hope that WWE can work something out with Impact Wrestling so that fans are able to enjoy the Broken Universe, especially after all of the success they’ve been having with it.
