Kylian Mbappe provided further evidence of why he could be the next Thierry Henry during Monaco's Champions League win over Manchester City on Wednesday.

In the seventh minute at the Stade Louis II, the 18-year-old demonstrated his ability as a poacher by latching on to Bernardo Silva's cross and poking past Willy Caballero.

Mbappe's strike was his 15th in a phenomenal season that's seen him linked with moves to the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona.

Some clubs have already made inroads into signing the exciting Frenchman, with Arsene Wenger admitting recently that he tried to bring him to north London last year.

"I approached him last year because I really believe that he has an exceptional future ahead of him," he said, per the Mirror.

"Unfortunately today, all these young players are in full view from very, very early on and all the big clubs want them.

"I hope the fact that everybody is already talking of nobody but him isn't going to have a negative impact on his future."

What Mbappe's future holds remains to be seen but one thing's for certain: if you play FIFA, you simply must sign him on Career Mode.

The winger is rated just 71 on FIFA 17 but, by the age of 25, he has the potential to reach 87. Check out the below screenshots of his incredible statistics.

Ninety-seven acceleration, 89 sprint speed, 96 ball control and 91 dribbling - absolute filth.

And that's just the beginning. It's believed Mbappe's true potential could be 92, though that would require playing at least seven or eight seasons.

The teenager's price tag will only increase the longer you wait, so sign him as soon as possible and reap the rewards as he enters his 20s.

In terms of real life, Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has insisted Mbappe isn't for sale and will be staying at Monaco this summer.

"Our intention is to keep Kylian Mbappe," he told RTL, per the Daily Mail. "Mbappe is a product of our youth academy. He is our DNA. I am very proud.

"We have a real team. The first half [against City] was excellent - the sort of performance that the very top teams make."
