This week has yielded a flood of information regarding the Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather superfight that has been at the top of most fight fans’ wishlists for more than a year now.
T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada has been reserved for June 10th and many are taking reports of that reservation as further evidence that this fight is not only happening, but we may already have a date set up.
That arena holds 3,000 more seats than the MGM Grand, where Mayweather normally fights. If the bout comes to fruition, then every single seat in that house will be filled in a matter of minutes after they go on sale.

Dana White recently said that he didn’t think that the fight was going to happen and then changed course yesterday to saying that at some point soon fans would get the dream match they had been asking for.
On the heels of that announcement, The Money Team President decided to double down on his intentions to get this fight done and give the people what they want.
He said to The Sun: “At the moment no papers have been signed but I hope that the fight will take place in June. I would like to give the people a show with the world of MMA against the world of boxing.”
In this moment, he sounds deadly serious about getting all the fine details sorted out and moving on to promoting what would be the fight of this young century.
Michael Bisping made headlines this week with a claim that the undefeated champion needed the money from this particular fight to recoup some loss that he had incurred recently, but this has not been proven yet.
Last week, the champion boxer announced his intentions to come out of retirement and challenge Notorious in a fight that could make even more money than his extremely lucrative bout with Manny Pacquiao in 2015.
Now the world will do what it has for the better part of the last year and wait for the two sides to come to an agreement that both parties are satisfied with. This fight has never been closer to happening than it is right now.
After waiting all this time, fans will not mind waiting just a bit longer for details to form. The big day could be coming in June and combat sport fans across the world couldn’t be happier.
