Kevin Owens is preparing to battle his former pal Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 33, but apparently his brewing rivalry with Y2J isn't enough to stop digital media teams from using his image for other wrestlers.Braun Strowman is scheduled to face Roman Reigns during the WWE Live event in Syracuse Friday night, building on the attack Reigns suffered at the hands of Braun during RAW.The problem is, apparently whoever put the graphic together advertising the house show has no idea what either WWE superstar looks like, and wound up using a picture of Owens instead of Braun in the image promoting the event. Here's the botched advertisement, caught by DeeDee Thadea on Twitter and sent Owen's way:

Owens actually responded to the botched advertisement on Twitter and the former WWE Universal champion had a perfectly snarky thing to say regarding mistaking a picture of him for Strowman:

A picture that makes him look like a great wrestler? That's just a savage response from Owens, who's quick quips are what make him a fan favorite.

Fans got in on it, reacting to the serious shade thrown Strowman's way by Owens. Prepare for a delicious sampling of GIFs and memes, folks:

Fans on social media also couldn't miss a chance to throw some shade at their favorite target, Reigns, either:

Owens was savage, but that's taking things to another level. Reigns is but an innocent bystander in this ordeal but still can't escape the legion of fans locked into social media.

Other fans used it as a chance to flip it around and take at shot at Owens himself, which is also well played. Jerichoholics have been amassing for years, and they aren't going to let Owens get off easy:

There's nothing wrong with a little harmless banter on social media, and the interaction it grants between fans and superstars is actually a good way for the WWE to connect with fans even when the cameras are off.

Owens is set to battle with Jericho with the United States championship on the line, potentially bringing an end to their chapter together.

The two were best of buds until Owens turned on Jericho. Y2J distracted KO before his match against Goldberg at Fastlane, one of the reasons he lost his title within the first 21 seconds of the match.

With only a few weeks left till the biggest show of them all, hopefully graphics teams in charge of promoting the WWE Live shows can get it together before the actual pay-per-view.
