The hardcore mixed martial arts fans will know that UFC has an event in London tonight with Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson headlining the Fight Night 107 card.Exciting fights are taking place with Alan Jouban battling Gunnar Nelson battling it out in a welterweight clash, while Brad Pickett is also in action as he takes on Marlon Vera inside of the Octagon.

PRELIMS

However, it’s probably one of the lesser-hyped fights on the card that’s managed to not only steal the show so far, but prove to be a candidate as one of the best one-punch knockouts you’ll witness inside of a cage.

Teemu Packalen was lined up against Marc Diakiese in a 155lbs clash on the undercard, and the latter only needed 30 seconds to put away his opponent in devastating fashion.

In fact, it was so short you could fit the entire fight into one tweet – as you’ll be able to see below.

ONE PUNCH KO

Diakese opened the first round with a heavy low kick and an impressive jumping double kick, instantly becoming the aggressor and setting the pace for the fight as he followed it up with a spinning back kick to the body.

Packalen struggled to even tie up and made a bad move by marching towards his aggressive opponent, only to walk directly into a massive overhand right which sent him to the canvas as stiff as a board.

Although, Diakese’s celebration at the end was probably a forgettable moment just moments after the referee stepped in – and it looks more painful each time you watch it and the reaction from both the British crowd and the commentators said it all.

While many on Twitter were quick to praise the red-haired fighter and built him up as an exciting prospect in the lightweight division, others heaped the praise on the referee – who have drawn plenty of criticism in recent months – as he stepped in at the perfect time to avoid allowing Packalen taking more unnecessary damage.

Who said preliminary fights can’t be entertaining?
