Jackett hails strike duo

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett is hoping strike duo Jason Price and Gary Alexander can fire the Lions to promotion after they both scored in the 3-1 victory over Walsall.

Price arrived on loan from Doncaster last week and scored his second goal in three games to give Millwall an 18th-minute lead, while Alexander grabbed a brace to seal the points after Walsall had levelled.

Jackett said: "The contribution of both (strikers) was good going forward. It would be lovely to settle them down and to be able for them to continue that partnership and hopefully let it grow."

He added: "I hope to have Gary available for a sustained run because the form he is in at the minute, he looks a key player.

"Jason Price has got experience. For his size he has good touch. He generally does the right thing and can get hold of the ball."
