The Cleveland Cavaliers made the decision before their Saturday night game against the Los Angeles Clippers to rest their big three of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love.It didn't pay off for them on the scoreboard, as they would go on to lose by a scoreline of 108-78 to the Clippers during a game that was broadcasted on national television. Fans and former players were outraged by the team's decision to rest their big three players in a nationally televised game, and the broadcast showed two great moments of James sitting on the bench with his teammates on his rest day.During the game on Saturday, the three-time NBA champion was seen with a hot beverage in his hand, with Jeff Van Gundy adding on the broadcast: “These guys know how to take a break today. We don’t even have to try to fake it anymore. We should have a lounge chair over there for these guys.”

People on Twitter had some fun with it, stating James had trolled the fans inside the Staples Center that came to watch him play.

Not only did the four-time MVP sip his hot beverage on the bench, but he also made sure that Love got a seat on the bench when he arrived in his suit courtside.

Despite both players not being active, both of them took a seat on the bench while James told rookie Kay Felder, who was taking part in the game, to get off his seat, take a towel, and sit on the floor instead.

Three guys that weren't playing sitting on the bench, while another who was has to sit on the floor. Poor rookie.

Many fans and former players were angry at the Cavaliers decision to rest their big three, including NBA Hall of Famer and former Utah Jazz star Karl Malone, who said: "If you don't have at least 10 yrs experience, get your a** playing. It's not work, it's called playing. Besides, tell our underpaid service members & police & first responders to rest. Dammit, they can't"

Cleveland plays against the Los Angeles Lakers later today, so it will be interesting to see if any of the big three make their way onto the court this time around, or if we're just going to get some more bench antics like we did against the Clippers.
