Ipswich defender Ivan Campo has revealed he plans to retire from the game at the end of next season - and wants to help his club into the top flight before he does.
The 35-year-old has played for Valencia, Real Madrid and Bolton during his career but wants to end it at Portman Road.
He said: "It is my hope that I can play for one more year here and help Ipswich get back to the Premier League."
He added: "I feel my fitness is good and that I have something to offer the team and I would like to stay.
"I have one more year of football in me before I retire and I want it to be at Ipswich Town."
