Coleman focuses on football

Accrington boss John Coleman admits he is relieved the focus will return to footballing matters when his side travel to Grimsby on Saturday.

The club has been thrown into the spotlight this week after the FA revealed they were charging five players for placing bets on Stanley to lose against Bury last season.

"That's all we can concentrate on, we've got a job to do. We've got a game on Saturday to prepare for," he told PA Sport.

Stanley saw their six-match unbeaten run come to an end in a 2-0 home defeat to Lincoln last week and despite being 11 points above the drop zone, Coleman is refusing to rest on his laurels.

"I know the lads are keen to get back to playing the way we were.

"We still don't feel that we are safe, we still feel as if we need a win and we will be going out to get that as soon as possible."
