Ahead of their crunch showdown, Vitali Klitschko has backed his sibling Wladimir to succeed when he takes on Anthony Joshua at the end of next month.

A sold-out Wembley Stadium will be the venue on April 29, when the Ukrainian heavyweight and the British superstar do battle for the IBF world heavyweight title.

Ahead of their showdown, Wladimir's older brother Vitali has given his brother a vote of confidence, stating: "Many people think muscles are important in boxing, it's not. Everything is here, in the head.

"He (Wladimir) is much more focused right now than many years ago. I hope he knows from his focus, from his concentration, that this fight depends a lot and that's why everyone expects a great fight."

Vitali goes on to say: "Yes, of course, we expect a good performance from Wladimir and yes course Wladimir has to be the winner on April 29th."

Klitschko will need to pick himself up after his last fight ended in defeat to Tyson Fury, which saw him surrender his heavyweight titles as a result.

Being one of the most experienced boxers in the industry, Klitschko has notched up 68 fights in his highly decorated career, and this is key to the fight against Joshua, according to Vitali.

"Wladimir has already big experience of fighting in an arena. He's used to fighting in a stadium, pressure from the crowd, from attention," claims Vitali.

In one final vote of confidence for his brother, Vitali concludes by saying: "It will be something new for Joshua and nothing special for Wladimir."

Joshua, however, could yet be Klitschko's toughest challenge, with the Englishman winning all 18 of his fights so far in his professional career.

What's more impressive is that each and every single one of Joshua's victories were won by knockout, and beating Klitschko, in the same manner, would easily be the Englishman's biggest scalp yet.

Though, the fight against Klitschko could represent Joshua's biggest challenge to date in his so far extremely successful boxing career.

Will it be 19 out of 19 for Joshua when he meets Klitschko at Wembley on April 29? Or will the Ukrainian's experience prevail to make it victory number 65 for Klitschko?
