The whole world it talking about Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather potentially hooking up and creating the superfight of the century.

While we appear to go around in circles as to whether that fight will actually happen or not, it hasn't stopped the world speculating what would happen if they actually met.

By now, we all know that it would have to be inside a boxing ring and not in the UFC's octagon.

The Notorious One would be tasked with beating one of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters of all-time in his boxing debut while Mayweather could potentially extend his incredible record to 50-0.

But, surely there would be other fights on the card, right?

It seems as though plenty fo fighters would want to have some of that purse and it's not just boxers who are queuing up to be a part of it.

British fighter Jimi Manuwa extended his record to 17-2 in MMA last weekend when he savagely knocked out Corey Anderson at UFC Fight Night: London.

Now, he wants a shot at another London-based fighter on the Mayweather/McGregor card.

Manuwa, who is now in line to face the winner of Daniel Cormier or Rumble Johnson for the UFC light heavyweight title, said after his first-round KO at the weekend: “David Haye, let’s do this.

“Dana White, Eddie Hearn, let’s make it happen. Why not have a fight with David Haye?

“We’re two of the hardest hitters in London. I think that the fight makes sense.

“Conor wants to fight Mayweather, why not have me against David Haye on the same card?”

One has to imagine that he is thinking about the potential money he could make, especially at 37-years-old.

Still, it is an intriguing thought. Can the big punchers in the world of MMA hang with professional boxers?
