After his proposed fight with Manny Pacquaio collapsed earlier this year, Amir Khan has been left in limbo.

Failure from investors to put in enough money for the fight to take place in the UAE meant Pacquaio was unable to fulfill the wishes of his fans, who had voted Khan to be his next opponent.

The Brit has been out of the ring since being knocked out by Canelo Alvarez in May of last year and is yet to organise another fight.

However, one video that has emerged on Wednesday would appear to suggest he is more than ready to take on anyone he fancies, even if the fight was tomorrow!

The silver medalist from the Athens Olympics in 2004 took on a challenge set up by Sting Energy to throw as many punches as he could in 30 seconds.

Now Khan will be the among the first people to tell you how fast his hands are but this video actually proves that he isn't kidding - they are lightning quick.

As you can below, Khan manages to throw 143 punches in half a minute towards the camera. That is just under five per second!

And he showed no signs of fatigue either as the 30-year-old kept attacking well beyond the stopwatch had finished counting down.

Plans over a future bout with Pacquaio haven't been completely scrapped but it would look like, should any agreement be made, they are likely to face off towards the end of 2017.

What Khan does in the meantime is anyone's guess.

Although the Brit would have gone into the fight as the big underdog, current unbeaten world welterweight champion Keith Furman thinks Khan would have had a chance.

"Some people think that Amir Khan can't take a punch, so Manny Pacquiao should be able to stop him," Thurman told On the Ropes Boxing Radio.

"Other people would say that it's a challenging fight for Manny Pacquiao. He's not that big of an individual, and Amir does have the height and reach advantage over him, and Amir knows how to box.

"Styles-wise, some people would favor Amir Khan as long as his defence doesn't loosen up and Pacquiao doesn't hit him with a big punch."
