It seems that, like club sides, international teams bring out a new kit on an all too frequent basis these days. Not long after you've purchased what you think is the newest shirt, there's another one ready to hit the shelves shortly after, leaving many fans wondering why they bother to keep spending the money. And on Wednesday night, England debuted their new all blue away kit for the first time as they fell to a 1-0 defeat to Germany in Dortmund.Lukas Podolski signed off his impressive international career with a stunning strike to hand Germany the victory, sending a 25-yard rocket flying past Joe Hart. However, some fans were more interested in the new kit, and took to social media to express their thoughts on the new threads. And it seems that they don't like it, with one fan even claiming that it makes the team look like another old rival, Scotland. And they're not wrong. Made by Nike, the kit follows similar templates of a block colour body with slightly darker sleeves, and the colour is a little close to that of our neighbours from the north.Marcus Rashford, who modelled the new kit when it was announced earlier in the week, started from the bench, so we can imagine that the marketing bods behind it probably weren't best pleased. And to add further insult to injury, former kit makers Umbro also put the boot in by saying: “England were good when we made kits…”Ouch. They've got a point, though. The new kits under Nike have hardly been inspiring and have often been derided by fans for being too boring, with some fans labelling one of their first kits as making England look like Germany.Shame they can't make them play like Germany!Check some of the reactions to the new away kit below...

So there you have it, it would seem that nobody is impressed with the new kit and to look like Scotland is no good for anybody.

Hopefully England can make up for it with performances on the pitch.
