When it comes to records in the WWE, you can’t overlook some of the greatest of all time that have helped mould the company into what it is today.
We recently had John Cena tie Ric Flair’s record of 16 world titles, while nobody will probably ever last longer as WWE Champion than Bruno Sammartino did during his time with the company.
ACHIEVEMENT
Records continue to be made, while a handful of them are eventually broken – such as Brock Lesnar finally ending The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak when he was at 21 consecutive victories at WrestleMania XXX.

However, with WrestleMania 33 only one week away, The Deadman is about to create even more history.
Although, based on the current rumours that are floating around, Roman Reigns will stop him from achieving the feat as speculation has suggested – as have the early odds – that The Big Dog will become only the second man to defeat The Phenom at the Grandest Stage of Them All, following in the footsteps of The Beast Incarnate.
If he is to overcome the odds, though, then a victory for The Undertaker will mark his 100th pay-per-view victory.
According to wrestlingdata.com, ‘Taker is currently on 99 wins, along with five draws and a total of 66 defeats which means he has a difference of +33 from the 170 pay-per-view matches he’s had.
The only realistic person who can perhaps catch up to him or even surpass him is John Cena.
99 WINS
He’s on 88 wins and heads into WrestleMania 33 alongside Nikki Bella to take on The Miz and Maryse in a tag team match.
Although he’ll probably work a part-time schedule after that, you can bet your money he’ll win enough pay-per-views in the future to knock The Deadman off of the top spot.
Despite losing 107 matches, Kane’s 70 victories puts him in fourth place, ahead of the likes of Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
There’s already plenty of outrage that Reigns could be defeating and maybe even retiring The Undertaker on April 2 in Orlando, so there’s a chance he may end his career with only 99 wins and won’t be able to add that one final win on his record.
Plans do change quickly in WWE, though, so it won’t be a huge shock if The Phenom does end up picking up another win at WrestleMania and this one could be the most special yet with pay-per-view victory number 100 looming.
