We want Wolves' success - Ainsworth

QPR caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth admitted watching Wolves' promotion party has given his side a taste for success next season.

Rangers failed to mount their expected promotion push this season, having parted company with bosses Iain Dowie and Paulo Sousa during a disappointing campaign.

But Ainsworth is out to emulate Wolves next term after Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Molineux sent Mick McCarthy's side into the Premier League.

"We could have put a dampener on their afternoon with an equaliser," he said.

"But we'll be going again next season - and what we have seen is what we want as well."
