We all love a good fan poll. It's a chance to see what the supporters of a particular club are thinking across a broad range of subjects.
It's no secret that Jose Mourinho will need to dip into the transfer market this summer and perform some drastic surgery on his squad. Their form may be good at the moment, but there are still some glaring issues to be addressed.
It's likely that there'll be a big number of players incoming and outgoing, and while there's no doubt as to fans having preferences on who they want to come on board, the Manchester Evening News conducted a poll to see who everyone wanted pushed through the exit door.
The results show that United fans have targeted six players in particular to be moved on over the summer, and as you can imagine, there aren't many surprises.
A grand total of 18 players have already been shown the exit by Jose Mourinho since he took over, but whether he listens to the fans' desires or not remains to be seen.
At the bottom of the list is Luke Shaw. It may seem harsh, but the young full-back hasn't recovered from his injury in the way that most had hoped, and it seems that fans would rather see him try to rebuild his career elsewhere.
Next, with a joint score is Ashley Young and Daley Blind. Neither player has been terrible for the side this season, but it seems that the Red Devils faithful feel they might be able to attract players of a higher calibre in order to push them forward.
Young will also be turning 32 this year, and for a player in his position, it's fair to say that he is probably past his best now.
Maroune Fellaini represents a significant jump in the rankings as most fans aren't keen on the Belgian international even being in the squad. He's hardly stood out for the right reasons and he is a dark reminder of the David Moyes days.
Coming in with 29% of the vote is Mateo Darmian. The Italian international started off well last season, but has faded dramatically and it seems he has no place in the side anymore.
But the man who takes the cake at the top of the list, is captain Wayne Rooney. After 13 seasons at the club he has lost his status as the most important player in the squad.
China or the USA could be possible destinations, but there is also a distinct possibility he'll be heading back to former club Everton, too.
