While WrestleMania 33 will prove to be an unmissable event, there are two guys who are currently not officially WWE stars that fans will be keeping their eyes peeled for this coming weekend.Fans will know by now that The Hardy Boyz are WWE-bound, and there has been plenty of speculation over the past month which suggests it’s only a matter of time before Broken Matt and Brother Nero are back in Vince MeekMahan’s company.

WWE RETURN

There’s been a lot of talk recently about their current status with Ring of Honor, as many believe the deal will stop them from coming back to WWE but it has been confirmed on numerous occasions that it is a short-term deal and they are set to drop the ROH tag team titles to the Young Bucks at Supercard of Honor.

The interesting thing about that is the ROH event falls on a Saturday, whereas WrestleMania takes place the night after.

The timing seems quite fitting, to say the least, and the common assumption has been that the RAW after WrestleMania will be the night the duo officially come back, especially since Matt’s merchandise store has been closed and the company has offered them deals.

However, according to a new rumour from Billi Bhatti over on Sportskeeda, the plans could be even bigger for The Hardy Boyz and if the speculation is to be believed, you might want to tune into the RAW tag team championship match on Sunday.

TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH?

Currently, the bout is booked as a triple threat tag team match where Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows will defend their titles against Cesaro and Sheamus, and Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

Apparently, though, WWE officials discussed another crazy idea for the real-life brothers and it could see them thrown into the title match too if they've given it the green light.

He claims: “Sources informed us weeks ago that there was an idea pitched for The Hardy Boyz to win the RAW tag team championships at WrestleMania in a ladder match, and if we saw any ladders being used on the Road to WrestleMania by the advertised competitors, then it meant the Hardyz pitch was being booked.”

He went on to add that the reason the RAW after WrestleMania looks unlikely is because it’s already a stacked show, and a return like that probably deserves more limelight.

The interesting thing to note, though, is that ladders were used on this week’s episode of RAW by the tag team competitors, and if the rumours are correct then it could be a small tease that The Hardy Boyz could be back in WWE at WrestleMania and compete in a title match they helped make famous.
