Last week, the work officially began inside of the Camping World Stadium in Orlando as WWE put preparations in place for the upcoming WrestleMania 33 event. There were plenty of rumours in the build-up to it, with many speculating that the company had huge plans into making sure that the arena was visually appealing – and it certainly looks like that’s going to be the case.

WRESTLEMANIA 33 SET

Plenty of images and videos have leaked over the last couple of days, and that will probably continue as we head towards Sunday until the stage and the whole set-up is officially revealed.

A couple of aerial shots were uploaded to Twitter shortly before Monday Night RAW this week, but we’ve gathered the best images to show you how the set is being constructed, and what to expect this weekend.

The tagline for the event is the ‘Ultimate Thrill Ride’ and a big part of the promotional material has been the inclusion of a rollercoaster.

Whether it’ll be fully functioning or not remains to be seen, but it does look as if they are constructing an actual rollercoaster on the stage and judging by the images below, you can actually see it from outside of the stadium, and it’s looking awesome so far.

The biggest talking point, though, has been the ridiculously long ramp they have placed from the stage, through the seats and down to the ring, and they’ll be a lot higher than the ring itself when the stars make their way through the curtains.

Fans on Twitter have been quick to point on a number of flaws with the ramp, despite it looking impressive.

THE RAMP

An additional positive from it seems to be that we may have found the spot Shane McMahon will be jumping from when he faces off against AJ Styles, as he tends to put his body on the line from the unlikeliest of places around the arena.

The big issue seems to be the length of entrances, especially when you have somebody like The Undertaker who has a really long entrance even of the shortest of ramps, so that could take up a lot of valuable time but if it proves to be his last ‘Mania, then the ring-walk shouldn’t be an issue.

It’s not just the walk down either, as it could prove to be a big task to get everyone back up the ramp in time for the next match, and we had a similar situation at the Royal Rumble earlier this year.

The view could also be hindered, especially for those who are on the floor seats as it looks as if the top of the stage could be blocked off from where they would be sitting.
