WrestleMania 33 is taking place this Sunday and the match card is full with matches that have been building for several months.

With a total of 13 matches announced for the show before the final episode of Smackdown, the company has already announced the three contests that will take place on the two hour pre- show.

A prestigious pre- show

The two hour show ahead of the main show will be semi- broadcast on the USA network and will house three matches.

The pre- show will be used to recap all of the matches that will come to a head on the main show and also house three contests.

Two title matches and the fourth annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal have been announced for Sunday's Pre- Show.

The Cruiserweight Championship will be defended on the pre- show as the self proclaimed King of the Cruiserweights Neville will take on Austin Aries.

The Smackdown Women's Championship will also be defended on the pre- show as Alexa Bliss will put her title on the line against every eligible woman on the Smackdown roster.

The match for the Smackdown Women's Championship has been surrounded by rumours in recent weeks.

Claiming that current NXT Women's Champion Asuka could be debuting on the main roster in the match, the rumours have had fans excited for the match.

However with the title match now appearing on the pre- show, it could be highly unlikely to house a shock such as Asuka's main roster debut.

The second hour of the pre- show will be broadcast on the USA Network and the title matches for the Cruiserweight and Smackdown Women's Championships will take place during the first hour of the show.

No room for a legend

For the second time in four years, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will take place on the pre- show.

Since debuting at WrestleMania XXX, Cesaro, Big Show and Baron Corbin have won the match, with only the latter arguably going on for a main event push.

In 2017, Braun Strowman is the favourite ahead of the match with him also expected to utilise it as the start of his main event push.

Strowman has become one of the more interesting characters on Monday Night RAW and a win on the WrestleMania pre- show could be a big momentum booster for the mountain among men.
