WrestleMania week is in full flow and for the superstars of WWE, that means a lot of media commitments and personal appearances.

This was highlighted by the fact that the Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and his challenger on Sunday Baron Corbin were both absent from the final episode of Smackdown before Sunday's grand spectacle.

Lone Wolf vs the Notorious?

For Corbin, one of his media commitments ahead of Sunday's Show of Shows was an interview with 105.3, The Fan.

The Lone Wolf would be asked about all things WWE and WrestleMania and the former NFL star would also discuss the potential super fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.

McGregor and Mayweather is quickly becoming the 'will they? won't they?' story of 2017 and almost everyone involved in a competitive sport seemingly wants to see it happen.

Corbin was asked about the potential fight and while he showed that he would be firmly in the corner of Mayweather if the fight ever does become a reality, he had some strong words for McGregor.

"I wouldn't mind taking a crack at Conor McGregor and, he's like 165 pounds, 185 pounds soaking wet. So, I would like to slam on his head a few times." - Corbin speaking about McGregor

Verbal jousts between McGregor and WWE superstars have become quite frequent recently as the UFC fighter has a talent for speaking on any issue he has been linked with.

Corbin has thrown his name in the hat for a chance to take on McGregor if he was ever really given the chance.

There have been links between McGregor and a shock WWE appearance in the past and should he arrive in the company, there would clearly be a line of WWE superstars willing to take him on.

Facing a lunatic

While Corbin was eager to lay the challenge down to McGregor, he was also questioned about his opponent for this Sunday, Dean Ambrose.

"So, in my mind, I want to walk out Intercontinental Champion, but I also want to inflict as much pain on Dean Ambrose as I can."

Corbin is largely tipped to emerge victorious at his second ever WrestleMania and the feud between him and Ambrose has been one filled with pain.

The two have brawled over recent weeks, mostly with Corbin being the one to inflict the beatings on the Intercontinental Champion.

When the two meet under the Florida sky on Sunday, the fans can surely expect to see an unpredictable roller coaster of a match.
