Footballers are often given a bad rep for only thinking about their bank accounts and the easy road to success, especially when they're young.
Often we've seen young players get a rush of blood to the head with promises of success only to see them fall at the first hurdle and struggle to cope with the pressures placed upon them.
But not Monaco's Kylian Mbappe, that fate isn't likely to befall him after an interview following France's 2-0 defeat to Spain suggested that he already has a wise old head on his shoulders.
The 18-year-old has exploded onto the scene this season with a grand total of 19 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions so far.
This success has already seen him linked with a host of top clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid, amongst others.
Interest from such clubs would get even the most battle-hardened veteran excited, so for a kid, it must be like Christmas.
Furthermore, there are the constant comparisons with former Monaco and France legend Thierry Henry. While meant as a compliment, comparisons can help to hinder a young player's career as it threatens to take away their identity and the essence of what makes them who they are.
However, while he is flattered at the links, he was quick to distance himself from the speculation by insisting that he isn't quite ready for a move of that magnitude at this early stage of his career.
"Today, I am at Monaco. Real Madrid, we will see later," Mbappe said per the Daily Mirror.
"For the moment, I am at Monaco... Real Madrid is a great club. But I still have a lot to learn.
"Real Madrid is a club that you should go to when you are mature, at the top of your game.
"I do not think that I am at the top of my game yet."
Considering he is still a teenager, that is some remarkable maturity. It's hard to imagine most teenage players in the Premier League being so level headed.
Mbappe won his second cap for Les Bleus, having won his first just last week in the World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg, which France won 3-1.
