With WrestleMania 33 now less than five days away, the card for the event looks to be finalised, especially now that both Monday Night RAW and SmackDown LIVE have had their go-home episodes.Currently, a staggering 13 matches are booked for the event, and that’s not including a match for the SmackDown LIVE tag team championships as The Usos and American Alpha have been added to the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal.

PRE-SHOW

There are a lot of mixed emotions heading into the event. Some are upset that the likes of Finn Balor and Samoa Joe aren’t featured on the card, while others claim John Cena could have been in a better match rather than teaming up with Nikki Bella to take on The Miz and Maryse.

The biggest uproar, however, has surrounded Roman Reigns and The Undertaker and the possibility of The Big Dog retiring The Phenom on Sunday.

It hasn’t stopped there, though, as another decision this week has caused plenty of fans on Twitter to criticise the company.

Three matches have now been bumped up to the pre-show, and while fans are upset that Neville and Austin Aries are there, there’s been a lot more reaction to the news that Alexa Bliss will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Champion in a six-pack challenge before the main show begins.

SMACKDOWN WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

As you'll be able to see below, most of the negativity seems to stem from the fact there’s slight favouritism as the RAW women are on the main show, while the women of the blue brand have been relegated, even with rumours that some former names could be involved.

This does seem like a last minute decision, as many thought the final script would see only two matches take place before the main card, but fans have also been quick to blame the Pitbull concert for the reason the change was made.

It’s understandable that there are bigger names in the RAW match with the likes of Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair, but the least WWE could have done was make it a level playing field, especially since they already booked the RAW women to reign supreme at Survivor Series.

This was supposed to be about giving all of the women a chance, but it certainly doesn’t feel that way.
