John Trewick has agreed to take over from Graham Turner as Hereford manager, the Coca-Cola League One club have announced.

Turner, the second-longest-serving boss in England behind Sir Alex Ferguson, revealed on Wednesday he will be stepping down at Edgar Street after 14 years in charge.

The former Aston Villa boss was due to continue in the dugout until the end of the season before handing the reins over to first-team coach Trewick in the summer. But that has now been brought forward and Trewick will take charge of the club`s final two games of this season.
