Paul Gallagher and Alan Judge look to be swapping one relegation battle for another at the end of the season with parent club Blackburn set to recall the duo almost immediately.
Argyle have two games to avoid relegation from the Championship, starting at QPR on Saturday before a final-day home clash against fellow strugglers Barnsley.
Blackburn will have three more games remaining after that and Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock has recieved a letter informing him Rovers would like Gallagher and Judge back at Ewood Park for their Premier League run-in.
But Gallagher, who has been Plymouth's top scorer this season, told Sky Sports that he will remain focused on ensuring Argyle's survival until the end. He said: "We are in a little bit of a fight here and I can only concentrate on one thing at a time.
"I don't want to look too far ahead. I want to keep Plymouth in this league - the same as every player in that changing room."
Meanwhile, the Pilgrims have announced a four-year kit deal with Adidas. The sportswear giant will supply all of Argyle's playing and training kits from next season.
