The biggest talking point heading into WrestleMania 33 this Sunday is the main event situation, with many not being too pleased about the prospect of Goldberg defending his Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar to close out the show.
The main reason for that is because the match isn’t expected to last very long, and could go down a similar route to what happened at Survivor Series last year where The Beast Incarnate was decimated in one minute at 26 seconds.
WRESTLEMANIA MAIN EVENT
A WrestleMania main event deserves to be longer, while fans also don’t want two part-time athletes taking that honour.

Based on tradition, it should be the WWE Championship match which goes on last, as Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble and will be challenging Bray Wyatt for the gold in Orlando.
However, when speaking to Yahoo, The Viper revealed that the main event shouldn't be either of the title matches, but The Undertaker’s clash with Roman Reigns.
There has been plenty of talk surrounding this match too, especially with the rampant speculation that this could be The Deadman’s final WrestleMania, and The Big Dog could retire him at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
While fans might not be happy that Reigns could be in the main event for a third successive WreslteMania, there’s no denying that there’s a lot riding on this match, there’s a lot of interest, plenty of questions left to be answered and quite frankly, The Phenom deserves it, and Orton feels the same way.
THE PHENOM VS. THE BIG DOG
According to Ring Side News, he said: “’Taker is going to face Roman Reigns and that’s going to be a good one.
“I honestly believe that should be the last match on the card; I think everybody will be happy with the outcome of the match.
“I expect The Undertaker to throw Roman Reigns around like a rag doll. Roman Reigns is going to get his, but at the same time, this is The Undertaker we’re talking about.”
With retirement rumours also making the rounds online, Orton also talked about whether or not this could be it for him.
He added: “Will Undertaker be around after this? If this is his last one and there’s speculation, all I can say is I hope not.
“Whether it was 20 years ago or today, when he comes to the ring and the gong hits and the music plays, the energy in the arena, it’s not like that for anyone else.
“I don’t care if it’s [John] Cena, Shawn Michaels, or whoever, it’s a different kind of energy and he’s got more respect from the fans than I think any character or superstar has ever had in our business.”
That’s certainly high praise from Orton, and it’s great to hear that he’s willing to put his own title match to the side to allow The Undertaker to have his big moment in Orlando.
