Since completing their "Big 4" of Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and J.J. Redick during the 2013-14 season, the Los Angeles Clippers have been one of the best teams in the Western Conference. With Paul providing the nifty assists, Redick knocking down long-range threes, Griffin doing it all and Jordan flushing home Paul's alley-oop passes, Lob City is a tough matchup for any opponent. On Wednesday night, though, in a 133-124 home victory against the Washington Wizards, that group accomplished something it had never done before. While battling for the hard-fought victory, Paul, Griffin, Jordan and Redick all scored at least 20 points. They ended the game combining for an impressive 107 points:

Redick led the way with 31 points, knocking down seven three-pointers in the process. Paul added 27 points and 13 assists, while both Griffin (26 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists) and Jordan (23 points, 18 rebounds) finished the game with double-doubles.

Following Sunday's embarrassing loss to the Sacramento Kings, Clippers coach Doc Rivers was pleased with how his team rebounded against the red-hot Wizards. Still, though, he told ESPN.com that he thinks the Clippers can play even better moving forward:

"We got the ball in the right hands and made shots," Rivers said. "The other night, we didn't make any. That's a good win, but there's a better Clipper team than tonight."

The Clippers only got 21 points from their bench players on Wednesday night, led by 14 from Jamal Crawford, who knocked down two three-point shots.

Redick offered another area in which the Clippers can improve moving forward - defense. After all, when you allow 124 points in a non-overtime game, you clearly didn't have your best effort on that end of the floor:

"Neither team was really getting stops," Redick said. "There really wasn't any defense."

Specifically, the Clippers couldn't stop Washington point guard John Wall, who finished with a game-high 41 points and also dished out eight assists and grabbed seven rebounds. However, Wall's All-Star effort wasn't enough to overcome the explosion of points from the Clippers' Big 4 on Wednesday night.

With the win, the Clippers improved to 45-31 on the season and currently hold the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference playoff race. They lead the sixth-place Oklahoma City Thunder by one game and trail the fourth-place Utah Jazz by 1.5 games.

The Wizards, meanwhile, fell to 46-29 overall, but held on to the No. 3 seed in the East. They trail the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers (who are tied for first) by two games.
