FIFA 17 has been out for six months now but we can’t imagine too many players - if any - have managed to score 100 goals in one match.

But it *is* possible - as the FIFA-related YouTube channel Daily Trading Tips have shown us.

So, what actually happens when you score 100 or more goals in a FIFA 17 match. Scroll down to find out…

For the record, the biggest scoreline ever recorded in a real football match - recognised by The Guinness Book of Records - happened back in October 2002 between two teams in Madagascar.

SO l'Emyrne intentionally lost the game against the arch-rivals AS Adema over refereeing decisions that had gone against them during a four-team tournament. They scored own goal after own goal and the score finished SO l'Emyrne 149-0 SO l'Emyrne.

This surpassed the previous highest scoreline of 36-0, set in 1885 during a Scottish Cup match between Arbroath and Bon Accord.

Here's what happens when you win 100-0 in FIFA

Anyway, back to FIFA 17 and what happens when you score 100 goals in one match.

First of all, if you want to try it out for yourselves, you’ll obviously need plenty of time. Two four-minute halves simply won’t cut it.

You’re going to need to play two twenty-minute halves, like DTT gave himself.

He played as Chapecoense, the Brazilian team involved in that tragic plane crash back in November, against the mighty FC Barcelona.

With just seconds left on the clock, DTT whacked in his 100th goal of the match and the first thing that happens is the scoreboard goes a bit weird.

Basically, there’s no room for 100-0 so it reads ’00-0’.

The scoreboard in the top-left hand corner also can’t handle three digits, so it reads ’10-0’.

The scoreboard inside the stadium does something similar. Instead of 100-0 it shows 99-0.

On to the player ratings and every single player is handed a score of 10.0.

Saves you having to score 100 goals in a single match yourselves - although why not give it a go.
