Not since 2012 have Borussia Dortmund won the Bundesliga.BVB’s title drought will extend to seven years when Bayern Munich put the bow on this season. Carlo Ancelotti’s side have a 13-point lead over RB Leipzig - a 16-point advantage over Dortmund - and are on their way to a fifth straight German title.Part of the reason for Bayern’s dominance has been their ability to poach Dortmund’s biggest stars with ease. Robert Lewandowski and Mats Hummels, two of the best players in the world in their respective positions, have both swapped Signal Iduna Park for the Allianz Arena in recent years. This has, of course, had a sorry effect on the competitiveness of the Bundesliga. In Bayern’s case, there’s been no better way to continue their success than by weakening their rivals. The Bavarians will be keeping a close eye on proceedings at BVB and will be acutely aware that Dortmund are being an exciting squad filled with young talent. With inspiration from Squawka, GiveMeSport has a look at what Dortmund’s XI could look like in a few years’ time - provided Bayern don’t come calling, of course. It’s tantalising good.

Not bad, huh? The potential in that side is tremendous.

The problem, of course, is that it’s not a case of if Bayern, Real Madrid and Barcelona come calling, but when.

Mor sees his future in Spain

Even 19-year-old Mor, who joined Dortmund from FC Nordsjaelland in 2016, has admitted he wants to play for Madrid one day.

"Dortmund is one of the best teams in the world," Mor, who has made 15 appearances under Thomas Tuchel this season, told Hurriyet, via ESPN FC.

"I am learning a lot.

"I want to play for Real Madrid, to be a star. My biggest dream is to one day wear the Real Madrid jersey, even if it is a bit too early for it.

"I know myself and I think I could play for Barcelona, too. When? I do not know yet."
