With Ring of Honor’s Supercard of Honor XI event now in the books, attention will understandably turn to WWE and whether The Hardy Boyz will make good on the rumours that have been going around for months.

Every wrestling fan must have heard of this by now, as there have been plenty of twists and turns heading into the Grandest Stage of Them All with many claiming Broken Matt and Brother Nero could appear on WWE television by Tuesday, at the very latest.

POTENTIAL RETURN

Despite Jeff’s best attempts to throw fans off by claiming WWE hadn’t offered them new deals, Dave Meltzer has gone on to suggest that the medical procedures may have already taken place, and deals may have already been signed as their ROH contracts were short-term, and expired the night before WrestleMania.

We’re all getting carried away, though, and it would be a huge shame if nothing happened after months of getting fans excited. However, the duo did confirm that WWE has been in contact, and even went on to reveal who they want to delete and face if they ever were to return.

Speaking to WSVN-TV Entertainment, they revealed both Vince McMahon and Roman Reigns are high on their list.

DELETE!

Broken Matt said: “Meek Mahan is very high up on the list.

“Roman Reigns is another one. I get requests for his deletion all of the time. Roman Reigns is more of John Cena right now than John Cena is if you can understand what I’m saying.

“I would say the first two people we would mark for deletion is The Usos, who have gold that we would like to procure and also The Club who have gold that we would like to procure.”

Although Jeff stated earlier this week that no deal had been offered, his older brother did confirm that talks had been held, and only time will tell whether they were positive, that’s despite Pro Wrestling Sheet breaking the news that they were offered.

He added: “We have spoken to Meek Mahan and of course the man with three H’s and everyone who is there who is important and of value.”

There are still a lot of questions left to be answered, especially on the gimmick side of things.

It was thought that WWE would go ahead and use the Broken gimmick, despite Impact Wrestling claiming they believe it.

While they perhaps won’t stand a chance in court, it’ll be interesting to see if The Hardy Boyz get a chance to delete some of the names they mentioned.
