The Cleveland Cavaliers needed a thrilling double overtime game to defeat the Indiana Pacers at home as they battle the Boston Celtics for the top spot in the east. LeBron James posted a triple-double of 41 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists to finally lead the Cavs to the win after a terrific individual battle with All-Star Paul George. The Pacers man finished the game with 43 points and scored 16 consecutive points at one stage in overtime. James was Cleveland's primary defender on George but Indiana continuously ran plays that switched Tristan Thompson onto PG13. LeBron was far from happy with Thompson's defensive coverages, however, and during a timeout following a huge three-pointer by Kevin Love, the pair became embroiled in a heated exchange.Love's three put the Wine and Gold up by four with 26 seconds left, but the euphoria on the bench didn't last long as LBJ yelled at Double T all the way into the huddle.

Following the game, though, James took full responsibility for the argument and was disappointed he didn't handle it better.

"I have to do a better job of not showing up my teammates out on the floor. I had the right intentions in my mind, but I had the wrong intentions come out of my mouth," James told Fox Sports Ohio on the court after the game.

"I take full responsibility for that as the leader of the team. So I got to be a lot better at that and be able to keep that in-house in the locker room and when we're watching film."

In the locker room, James added: "I was a little bit too demonstrative at that point in the game. He worked hard for our team, he's a big-time player ... but the way it came out was -- it didn't look good on TV."

With the Cavs not playing their best basketball at the moment, this is another sign of how bad things are with the franchise at present.

Bad play on the court is now causing tension in the locker room and that is the worst thing that can happen to the Cavaliers as they attempt to reach the finals for a third consecutive year.
