Manager Phil Parkinson is adamant that he can be proud of his work at Charlton after the Addicks finished the season by dragging Norwich down with them in a 4-2 win.

Nicky Bailey's 10th minute header and a Deon Burton's hat-trick did the damage as the Canaries only managed replies through Alan Lee and Sammy Clingan.

"If I'm not here I'll walk away with my head held high," said Parkinson. "The club has had a lot of instability. If the board, or any new owners, want to start again I think that will be a big risk."
