Timberwolves (31-45) 110, Trail Blazers (38-39) 109

The only NBA game on Monday night went down to the wire, as Damian Lillard (25/4/6) missed a shot at the buzzer that would have won the game. Lillard led the Blazers in scoring, but went just 7-of-21 shooting while co-star C.J. McCollum (17/5/4) went 5-of-14. Minnesota was led by Karl-Anthony Towns (34/12/0), who shot an impressive 15-of-25 from the floor in the win. Andrew Wiggins (29/3/0) went 11-for-24 shooting while Ricky Rubio (11/7/16) double-doubled in the nail-biting victory. Interestingly, Portland had only five turnovers in the loss.
