Arsenal have almost become a parody this season, and it's in no small part down to Arsenal FanTV.

The social media station is divisive, to say the least.

We caught a glimpse of just how unpopular it is with some supporters when those filming after the 2-2 draw with Manchester City were set upon by other members of the Emirates faithful.

The result left the Gunners seven points off the top four, albeit with a game in hand over Pep Guardiola's side.

Combine that with the manner in which they crashed out of the Champions League, and it's easy to see why the fans have erupted.

Now, the fine gentleman of Arsenal FanTV get their fair share of stick, but they deserve credit where it's due.

As much as they seem to spend most of their time arguing about Arsene Wenger's contract, the channel occasionally comes up with a moment of brilliance that makes it all worthwhile.

Where is Ozil?

They've decided to make light of Mesut Ozil's frequent disappearing acts, which generally come when Arsenal need him most - in the big games.

Many will have predicted how he would perform against City. It was an open game, full of chances, but the Germany international didn't seem to be involved at all.

In fact, the playmaker's most notable moment was when he gave the ball away in the lead-up to Sergio Aguero's goal.

That led a group of fans' to start a 'missing person' campaign outside the ground - and it received the support of an unlikely donor.

This is so awkward

Per Mertesacker obviously didn't see the picture on the other side of the bucket, but it still makes for some pretty hilarious viewing:

It has to be assumed that these fans would not be sorry to see Ozil go if he does leave in the summer.

With just over a year left on his current deal and no indication that he'll sign an extension, the 28-year-old is expected to follow Alexis Sanchez out of the door.

And yet, while the Chilean will have no shortage of suitors, Ozil is going to need to up his game considerably if he's to attract another top club.

Is Mesut Ozil overrated? Have your say in the comments.
