Blackpool loan star Charlie Adam insists caretaker-manager Tony Parkes must be handed the reins on a permanent basis.
Rangers midfielder Adam proved a huge success at Bloomfield Road in the second half of the season and helped the Seasiders stave off the threat of relegation.
He has now returned to Ibrox, but told the Blackpool Gazette: "Tony and (assistant) Steve (Thompson), and the number three Gary Parkinson, have impressed me and it has been great working with them. It's always great to work with such quality people."
He added: "It's a great club and I just hope the chairman makes the right decision next week."
