WrestleMania 33 was notable for numerous reasons; Shane McMahon actually having a good wrestling match, Brock Lesnar beat Goldberg for the Universal Title and John Cena having the least romantic proposal potentially ever.

But the real talking point from 'Mania was the apparent retirement of The Undertaker - one of the greatest stars in the history of professional wrestling. After 27-odd years in the WWE, Taker bowed out with a loss to Roman Reigns.

After losing the streak to Brock Lesnar, Undertaker collapsed after reaching the backstage area and had to be rushed to the hospital. So, that got us wondering, what happened after the loss to Reigns? Well, thanks to a video taken backstage, we now know.

Backstage Video

A fan who was backstage at 'Mania has posted a video on Twitter showing The Undertaker walking backstage with his wife Michelle McCool.

It truly is great to see 'Taker getting such a round of applause from everyone that he is walking past. The man has earned that after however many decades in the business and it is good to see the right level of respect being paid to an absolute legend.

From the men in suits to those who seemingly bought VIP passes, it truly looks like they are all respectful of what The Undertaker has done for wrestling during his career.

Time to Go

While many won't have been too happy to see Taker leaving wrestling with a loss to Roman Reigns, it was the right thing to do.

Undertaker has always been old school and part of the church that says the old timer should always go out on their backs, looking up at the stars as they hear that one, two, three count sound for the last time.

And this victory may have been just what Roman Reigns needed to turn himself from hated because of the booking he has received from Vince McMahon and the WWE creative team, to an actually hated wrestler for what he himself does - rather than just the booking.

You just have to look at the hate that Roman received on Monday Night RAW earlier this week to see how much good it may have done for him. You have to admit that taking all that heat and then just saying five words before exiting to a chorus of boos is masterful heel work.

Yes, The Undertaker may be gone, but the WWE may be much better for it.
