Kamara double sinks Villa

Published Add your comment

Fulham moved into seventh place in the Barclays Premier League with a comfortable 3-1 win over Aston Villa.

Two goals from Diomansy Kamara and a penalty by captain Danny Murphy ensured the Cottagers overcame a poor Villa side who had re-established parity until the interval thanks to a strike from Ashley Young.

But Kamara struck twice in the second-half to keep the Cottagers on course for a place in next season's Europa League while Everton's draw with Tottenham saw them close the gap on fifth-placed Villa.
