Jimmy Butler had a near-perfect night for the Chicago Bulls on Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers, scoring 19 points while dishing out 10 assists and grabbing 10 rebounds to notch a triple-double in his team's 102-90 victory.

The only reason it wasn't a completely perfect night for the young star is because of teammate Bobby Portis, who got a little bit carried away with a celebration during the big win.

The second-year forward was walking off the court after a big moment when Butler put his hand up for a high five, which Portis was a little bit too eager to accept.

As you can see from Butler's hilarious reaction below, Portis probably won't be getting too many high fives from the Chicago star in the near future:

As the Bulls battle for their playoff lives, Portis would be wise to be a little bit gentler with the team's best player.

Following the game, Butler joked with ESPN.com that he and Portis would have a problem if he ever high fives him like that again:

"I know if Bobby smacks my hand as hard as he did again," Butler said with a smile, "we're going to go toe-to-toe.

"I told Bobby to stop doing that. It's good that he's so fired up and has all that energy. Just don't smack my hand like that."

Butler was obviously in good spirits after the big win, which helped the Bulls improve to 39-40 on the season. Chicago is tied with the Indiana Pacers for the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race with three games remaining on the regular-season schedule, thanks in large part to Butler's efforts of late.

Portis said he quickly realized what he'd done after delivering the aggressive high five, but said he sometimes can't control himself in the heat of the moment:

"I'm a guy that plays with a lot of emotion, plays with a lot of grit," Portis said. "I really wasn't trying to smack him hard, that's just - when I play basketball I'm not even on the planet. I'm in another world. I was locked in, I hit his hand hard, and after I sat down and thought about it I'm like, 'Damn, I did hit his hand pretty hard.' He kind of joked around with me."

If the Bulls are going to earn one of the eight playoff spots in the East, Portis and Butler are going to need to have a few more high five-worthy moments. For the Bulls' sake, though, hopefully Portis will take it a bit easier on Butler's shooting hand.
