When LeBron James joined the Miami Heat before the 2010-11 season, the promises of multiple titles followed quickly thereafter.

Teaming up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh didn't go smoothly at first, though, as the Heat fell in the 2011 NBA Finals to the Dallas Mavericks in six games.

The team quickly rebounded, however, making it back to the Finals in 2012 against Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

That time, things went a lot better for the Big Three, as James, Wade, Bosh and the Heat won in six games to earn the first title of LeBron's career.

Coached by Erik Spoelstra, who is still in charge of the Heat, the 2011-12 squad delivered the first of the back-to-back titles of the Big Three era. Here's where the starting five and key contributors from that year's team are now.

LeBron James

LeBron spent four years with the Heat, making it to the Finals each year and earning two rings in the process.

Once he and Wade figured out how to share the court and alpha-dog responsibilities, the Heat got over the hump and won the title, with James averaging 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.1 assists a night.

Now back with the Cleveland Cavaliers, James is back to his title-winning ways. He led the Cavs to their first-ever title last year and is gearing up to make a run at his seventh-straight NBA Finals this year.

Dwyane Wade

Wade was the one who orchestrated the Big Three era in Miami, as he had been with the Heat since he was drafted in 2003.

In 2011-12, Wade averaged 22.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists while appearing in only 49 games for the Heat.

Last offseason, though, a contract dispute forced the three-time NBA champion out of Miami and he is now averaging 18.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per night for the Chicago Bulls.

Chris Bosh

The third member of the Big Three, Bosh averaged 18 points and 7.9 rebounds per game for the title-winning squad.

Unfortunately, Bosh has yet to appear in a game this season as he deals with a blood clot issue that caused him to miss the end of the 2015-16 season. His NBA future is in question at this point.

Mario Chalmers

Chalmers was the starting point guard for the title-winning Heat teams and averaged 9.8 points and 3.5 assists a night for the 2011-12 squad.

Early in the 2015-16 season, Chalmers was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies. He played out the rest of the season with them, but failed to find a new team this year. He is currently a free agent.

Joel Anthony

Anthony started 51 games at center for the 2011-12 Heat, averaging 3.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game as a defensive specialist.

Anthony currently plays a bit role for the San Antonio Spurs, averaging 1.1 points and 1.3 rebounds in 5.3 minutes a night.

Norris Cole

Cole served as the backup to starter Mario Chalmers in 2011-12, averaging 6.8 points and 2.0 assists per game as a rookie.

After spending last season with the Shandong Golden Stars in China, Cole signed a contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder in March. He is now averaging 2.3 points and 1.1 assists in limited action as the team's third-string point guard.

Udonis Haslem

Haslem, now in his 14th season, is the only player from the 11-12 Heat still on the roster. He's spent his entire NBA career in Miami.

He's currently averaging 2.1 points and 2.3 rebounds in limited action. In 11-12, he played a bigger role, averaging 6.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Shane Battier

Battier was a "three-and-D" specialist for the 11-12 Heat, averaging 4.8 points and 2.4 rebounds in his bench role for the team.

Earlier this year, Battier re-joined the Heat as the team's director of basketball development and analytics.
