MK Dons midfielder Luke Chadwick insists a packed stadium:mk could prove the difference as they look to see off Scunthorpe and book their place in the play-off final at Wembley.
Roberto Di Matteo`s outfit welcome the Iron to Buckinghamshire for the second leg of their semi-final having battled out a 1-1 draw at Glanford Park last Friday.
He told the club`s official website: "It gives the lads a massive lift when there`s a big crowd in, it`s such a brilliant stadium with a great atmosphere and with 16,000 or 17,000 in there it`s unbelievable."
With the scores level, everything is still to play for in what will be a one-off game for the right to meet either Millwall or Leeds on May 24.
And with a crowd in the region of 18,000 expected, Chadwick knows the important role the club`s fans can play in roaring Dons to victory.
He added: "The fans have been brilliant for the lads both at home and away this year, but when they really get going and make some noise at stadium:mk it creates the kind of atmosphere the lads thrive on. We`re all hoping we can do the crowd a favour on Friday night and get the club to the play-off final."
