It won’t be much longer before the race to sign Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe truly hots up.The 18-year-old has had a breakout season, scoring 19 goals in all competitions and also earning a call-up to the French squad.Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have all been linked with the youngster dubbed the ‘next Thierry Henry’.Mbappe spoke very highly of PSG earlier this month, calling them an “attractive” club."Today, PSG is a big European club," Mbappe told TF1’s ’Telefoot’ show, via ESPN FC. "It is one of the top six worldwide. Of course they are an attractive club."They are at a turning point in their project, so we will see what they decide to do. We will keep an eye on what they are doing.”

Mbappe would be welcome at Madrid

Meanwhile, Sergio Ramos would welcome Mbappe to Real Madrid with open arms.

“The gates of Real Madrid are always open for the best players," Ramos said, via the Independent.

"If you come to Madrid, Mbappe, we will welcome you with all the affection as we always do with the new players who arrive."

Arsenal fans would love him at the Emirates

Mbappe could have a decision to make very soon. If he keeps his form up, it won’t be long before that first bid is launched.

Of course, Arsenal fans would love to see Arsene Wenger splash the cash on the teenager in the summer. It’s been reported that if the under-fire manager is to remain at the Emirates Stadium, a change in approach is required, and what better way to send a message than by spending big on a highly-rated young talent?

Mbappe would also make Arsenal supporters forget about Alexis Sanchez in an instant if the Chilean leaves in the summer.

Sanchez has been linked with a move to Chelsea, although reports in Chile claim the 28-year-old might sign for Manchester City.

It would appear that Mbappe, who must be interested in the chance to play for the club where Henry made his name, has been monitoring Sanchez’s situation, if his social media activity on Monday is anything to go by.

Mbappe's strange tweet

The Monaco striker tweeted a link to an article from beIN Sports titled: “Alexis Sanchez to Manchester?”

The tweet was quickly deleted, but not before it was screenshotted and sent around the social media site.

What does it mean?

Mbappe just made a mistake, surely?

The optimistic Arsenal fan will probably view it as Mbappe telling the Gunners he’s available if Sanchez does go.

Or maybe Mbappe is intrigued by the thought of playing with Sanchez at the Etihad Stadium.

Whatever the case, we haven’t heard the end of this yet.
