The WWE roster is currently stacked with high profile talent after several big names from different wrestling promotions around the world have joined the company in recent years.
Following the WWE Draft in 2016, several big names such as the Hardy Boyz, Kurt Angle and Goldberg made spectacular returns to the company.
Not coming back
One superstar who departed WWE in 2016 however was former United States Champion Alberto Del Rio.

Del Rio, a former Royal Rumble winner and WWE Champion made a spectacular return in 2015 as he defeated John Cena for the US Championship.
Del Rio's run with the company would last less than a year though as he would opt out of his contract in August of 2016.
Ever since his departure, Del Rio has not spoken kindly of his time with the company and recently made big claims that WWE have reached out to him since he ended his contract.
Per a report on Ringside News, Del Rio claimed during a recent Q&A session that the company has reached out to him about a return.
"It's them already calling me to go back to that company, but I'm not going back ever, ever, ever. I'm too happy being out of that place."
His revelation came after a fan questioned if he was "burning bridges" with the company following his 2016 departure.
Del Rio simply expressed how happy he was to be away from the company and that they did everything they could to keep him.
PWInsider has even claimed that Vince McMahon himself has expressed a desire for Del Rio to return as he views him as the next big hispanic superstar for the company.
Mexico's Greatest Export left the company 12 days after it was announced he would be suspended for 30 days due to a violation of the company's wellness policy.
Del Rio found success following his departure though as he debuted on TNA under the ring name Alberto Del Patron.
Del Patron would controversially win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship on his first night with the company.
Controversy in and out of the ring
Del Rio is currently engaged to injured WWE superstar Paige who recently was involved in some out of the ring controversy.
Paige has been away from the WWE for an extended period of time and Del Rio's departure from the company occasionally brought her own WWE future into question.
She is however expected to make a Summer 2017 return to the ring - a move that could put a stumbling block in their real life relationship.
